Twin Cities Offer Great Shopping Opportunities, Old and New

Something New

For 20 years, the Centralia Factory Outlets have offered shoppers a chance to capture a good deal when they hop off Interstate 5 at exit 82.

More than 30 manufacturer-owned shops on both sides of the freeway provide merchandise at discounts between 25 and 65 percent. There are only about 250 outlet centers nationwide as compared to over 300,000 regular shopping centers.

A planned renovation project is nearly completed, according to outlets manager Renate Johnson. The last phase of remodeling is getting underway, and Johnson says they expect to have it completed by the end of the year.

Eddie Bauer, Lane Bryant and a Nike Clearance Store are among the newest tenants, but other stores include: Bass Shoe and Apparel, Big Dogs, Christian Outlet, Claire’s, Corningware Corelle Revere, Country Clutter, Cowtown Boots, Dress Barn, Easy Spirit, Factory Brand Shoes, Helly Hansen, KB Toy Outlet, Kitchen Collection, L’eggs, Hanes, Bali, Playtex, Lovely Nails, Paper Factory, Pfaltzgraff, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Quiksilver, Quizno’s, Samsonite Company Store, Van Heusen, VF (Vanity Fair) Outlet and Vitamin World.

Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Information is available by calling 736-3327 or by visiting www.centraliafactoryoutlet.com.
